PRESS RELEASE

Yakima, Washington June 21, 2005 – Christa McAuliffe Academy (CMA), announced today that it is moving from it’s present location at 2520 W. Washington to The Tower in downtown Yakima. CMA will occupy the entire 11th floor of The Tower, which will serve as the new world headquarters for the Internet school.

“We looked at new construction and several other existing properties before settling on The Tower as the best value for our operation. Close proximity to the Capitol Theatre was a consideration, since CMA holds its Prom and Graduation ceremony there every year. Joe Morrier has been great to work with-- he and his staff have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs. I am looking forward to participation in the revitalization of the Downtown area. I will continue my work with START Yakima Foundation and I have some ideas about creating a world-class entertainment district in the Downtown area that could make Yakima a major destination for tourists and business conventions”, Blomgren said.

The 11th floor will be completely renovated with new carpet, trim, and paint for the new tenant, the work is expected to be completed in time for an August 1st move-in date. CMA will install state-of-the-art electronics and wireless communications to serve their worldwide student population.

A public open house is planned for later this year.

“We look forward to meeting all our new neighbors and becoming an active part of the Downtown business community”, Blomgren said.
