MAYTAG TO OPEN NEW
CONSUMER
CONTACT CENTER
IN YAKIMA, WA
Maytag Services, a business unit of Newton,
Iowa-based Maytag Corporation, will be expanding its consumer contact
center operations, with plans to open a new call center location in Yakima, WA.
The opening of the consumer contact center in Yakima will help to support Maytag’s overall growth
initiatives, allowing Maytag to expand all-brand repair service into
several additional markets, particularly those located within the
western part of the United States.
Maytag Services plans to phase-in consumer contact
center operations in Yakima,
with an anticipated target launch later in the second quarter of this
year. The new Yakima
consumer contact center will have the capacity to staff up to 200
employees.
